We are looking for a experienced herd manager to join us for the coming season. You must have one year or more NZ dairy farm experience. Jobs include all basic farm work and some responsibilities around animal health, milk quality, pasture management, tractor work, farm maintenance etc. You must be reliable and smoke/ drug free with a valid driver license. salary package based on applicant capabilities. We have an opportunity for a casual staff member to help us on our two farms over the calving and mating period (July-Dec). We have two dairy farms both running 300 cows located 10mins North of Morrinsville. The role will mainly involve milking and some small duties either side of milking like collecting cows or cleaning up. The hours will be roughly 20-30hrs per week and are to help during the days staff are rostered off, you will most likely be working directly with the farm owner.
