Located 20 minutes to Te Awamutu, our organic, system 2, 460 cow dairy unit milks through a 60 bale rotary with ACRs and Milk Hub.  We are passionate about looking after our animals and providing a supportive work environment for our staff. We are seeking a Herd Manager to join our team for a start in early 2026. Our ideal applicant will have an obvious passion for the industry and be keen to learn & progress in it, excellent animal health & husbandry (having a knowledge of organics would be an advantage) and all general on farm skills, including good tractor experience. Great communication & a 'can do' attitude are a must.  The remuneration package offered for the successful applicant will be $25-33/hr for a minimum 30 and maximum 58 hours per week. We are seeking a  high performing 50:50 Sharemilker for the start of the 2027/28 season. The farm currently milks 750 July-calving cows and is located 20 minutes from Te Awamutu township. The farm is 245 ha milking platform on high fertility ash and silt loam soils. Milking through a 46 bail herringbone shed with in-shed meal system. Past three years production has averaged 350,000 MS. The farm runs at a system 4 level with 600 t of meal, 300 t PKE and 330 t of maize bought in each year.  Plus 4 ha of maize is grown on farm each year. 50 big square bales of hay are also bought in. The successful candidate will be honest and reliable with a strong work ethic, excellent all-round farm knowledge and a good ability to use initiative. Outstanding pasture management skills are a must.
