Key Responsibilities Assist with milking cows according to the farm’s milking procedures and hygiene standards. The Calf Rearer is responsible for the daily care, feeding, and welfare of calves on the farm. This role supports the farm team by ensuring calves are healthy, well-fed, clean, and kept in a safe environment. Main Duties and Responsibilities: Prepare and feed milk, milk replacer, water, and calf feed according to farm instructions. Clean calf pens, feeding equipment, buckets, and work areas to maintain high hygiene standards. Monitor calves daily for signs of sickness, injury, stress, or poor feeding.
