We are seeking a 2IC or Herd Manager on a 600-cow farm located approximately 15-20 minutes west of Invercargill, milking through a 40 Aside Herringbone shed with ACR's and an in shed feed system. You must have a passion for cows and animals and enjoy working outside. Plus a friendly can-do attitude, a willingness to learn and be flexible, take pride in your work, be honest and reliable and maintain a clean and tidy home. You'll have a range of duties to keep you busy, interested and developing including:   - Milking and monitoring milk quality, - Stock handling and feeding - Fencing, maintenance and weed control - Calving and helping out with calf rearing -  Tractor operation for feeding out, fertiliser, mowing and ground work - Monitoring, recording and maintaining animal health and other general farm duties. -Further learning and growing is supported and encouraged Weekly hours are a minimum of 30, with an average of 45 and a maximum of 60. We are a high producing 700 cow farm set on 228Ha of stunning countryside just 20 mins drive to Invercargill.     We consider ourselves to be good employers who offer a healthy work/life balance to our employees.
