Relief milking position. Support from permanent employed staff when needed. Milking 1000 cows through an 80 bail rotary cowshed. Set roster for relief milking and more casual work may be available at times. Working as part of a 6 person team. At least 1 year experience required in New Zealand farming. Start date negotiable . We require a 2IC to assist with the day to day running of our 900 cow dairy farm 12 minutes out of Bulls Manawatu. We have a great team and we are looking for the right person who will fit in as team culture is really important to us. The successful applicant must be honest, reliable, enthusiastic, motivated and positive. The successful applicant must have excellent communication skill, a minimum of 3 years dairy farming experience, must be confident in the dairy shed, with operating machinery and have basic pasture management skills.  Qualifications would be an advantage but full training will be provided. Duties and responsibilities include: milking, animal health, feeding out, calving, mating and general farm maintenance.  The applicants must be willing to undergo a drug test.
