Our farm milks approximately 840 cows through a herringbone shed and operates Roto-rainer and pivot irrigation systems. We are looking for a farm assistant to join us at One Arrow.  We require someone with 1-3 years farming experience. You should be able to do the following under direction: Milking a herd of cows in a timely fashion Identify lame and mastitis cows Complete plant wash and vat wash Operate Effluent Spreader Shift K line Irrigation Correctly set up correct break sizes Assist with lame cow treatment We are keen to turn good people into good farmers. This is a fixed term position until 31 May 2027, As such Accredited Work Visas will not be considered. Roster 7 day on 3 day off 8 day on 3 day off.  Only open to people in New Zealand.
