We’re a growing fencing contracting business based in the Selwyn area, looking for our first employee to join the team.
Currently a one-man operation, we’re open to applicants with anything from some fencing experience through to an experienced fencer. For us, attitude, reliability and attention to detail are just as important as years on the job.
There’s plenty of variety, including:
- Post driving
- Electric fencing
- Netting and rural fencing
- Post and rail
- Building and repairing yards
- Swinging gates
- General rural fencing and associated work
Who we’re looking for
You’ll ideally be someone who:
- Has some fencing, farming, construction or practical hands-on experience
- Has excellent attention to detail and takes pride in getting a job finished properly
- Is reliable, motivated and has a good work ethic
- Can work well alongside others but is equally capable of getting on with a job independently.
- Is flexible around hours when jobs or weather require it.
- Is respectful of clients, their properties, stock and equipment
- Has a full driver's licence
- Has common sense.
- Experience operating tractors and post drivers would be ideal.

We're not necessarily looking for the person with the longest fencing CV. We're looking for someone dependable, practical and motivated who cares about doing a bloody good job.
