Farm Assistant We are seeking a reliable and motivated Farm Assistant to join and complete our farm team. Our farm is located just 15 minutes from Ashburton and milks 860 cows through a modern 50-bail rotary shed equipped with ACRs and Protrack. The farm is irrigated using centre pivots and one Rotorainer. This position offers a comfortable 2–3 bedroom home and operates on a 6 days on, 2 days off roster year-round. The successful applicant will: Have a positive attitude and strong work ethic. Be reliable, honest, and able to work well within a team. Hold a current full driver's license. Be committed to maintaining high standards of animal welfare, farm safety, and farm presentation. Be able to pass pre-employment and ongoing drug and alcohol testing. We are looking for a motivated, Ideally 2-3+ years experience  Farm assistant to join our awesome team of four in Carew(20min to Ashburton and Geraldine). Start date is flexable The successful candidate must be goal driven and have ambitions to go places within the dairy industry. Take pride in the work they do. Be Honest , Reliable and Punctual. Have good problem solving skills. Confident in all aspects of animal health. Be drug free, non-smoker and no pets. Duties will include all aspects of dairy farming inc: Milking, Fencing, Tractor work. The purpose of the position is to assist in the day to day running of the farm and taking responsibility in the milking shed and animal health.
