You must also have a full clean driving license and willing to work in a fast-paced environment. We are looking for an relief milker for a 750 cow farm located 10 minutes east of Ashburton. This is a casual drive in position and experience in milking is required as it is a high producing herd, being milked through a 1 person shed. The cows are being milked through a 54 bale rotary with acr and auto teatspray. The roster will be covering the other staffs days off, and will be 4 days on, 6 days off, with the occasional 6 days on, 4 days off, the high producing herd takes around 4 hours to milk in the morning and around 3 hours in the afternoon. Starting times are 5am and 2.30pm. Other duties will include general farm maintance such as fencing, cleaning and tidying.
