We are looking for an relief milker for a 750 cow farm located 10 minutes east of Ashburton. This is a casual drive in position and experience in milking is required as it is a high producing herd, being milked through a 1 person shed. The cows are being milked through a 54 bale rotary with acr and auto teatspray. The roster will be covering the other staffs days off, and will be 4 days on, 6 days off, with the occasional 6 days on, 4 days off, the high producing herd takes around 4 hours to milk in the morning and around 3 hours in the afternoon. Starting times are 5am and 2.30pm. Other duties will include general farm maintance such as fencing, cleaning and tidying.

we are looking for a relief Milker to join our team for 5 - 6 weeks to get us through to the end of the season. Must be able to operate the buttons for backing gates and work solo in a 60 bale rotary shed ,would also need a good eye for spotting lames and detecting mastitis

We have available a full time OAD dairy farming position in a 40 aside herringbone. The right applicant must be able to Calve cows, Treat Mastits and lame cows. Tractor driving experience as well as mowing and feeding out. Fencing experience and all day to day running of a farm. Weekend Relief Milker – Five Forks, North Otago We are looking for a   reliable and capable relief milker   to help with weekend milkings on our dairy farm at   Five Forks, North Otago . We are milking approximately   600 cows through a 40-aside herringbone shed . This is a   drive-in position   and would ideally suit someone local looking for regular weekend work. Hours: Morning milking:   5:00am – 8:30am Afternoon milking:   2:00pm – 4:30pm Weekend work The role will primarily involve milking and general dairy shed duties. Previous dairy or milking experience would be an advantage; however,   training can be provided for the right person . We are looking for someone who is reliable, has a good attitude, is confident around livestock and can work independently once trained. Good hourly rate for the right person.
