Understands and takes responsibility for daily tasks such as running of the dairy, effluent management and feeding. Completes tasks with minimal supervision and can supervise and train other staff. We are looking for an experienced herd manager. This position will be split working between two farms 2 minutes apart. Both farms run a system 4. We are extremely passionate about our stock and strive for the best results both in production and animal health as well as maintaining a general high standard of farm upkeep and tidiness. Both farms milk around 450 Friesian cows through modern 40 aside herringbone and 50 bail rotary cow sheds.
