Due to a change in circumstances we are looking for 2x team members from the beginning of September to join our team full time. We milk 750 cows through a modern 54 bail rotary that is centrally located. Our roster is 6 days on 1 day off over calving with the remaining season 6 days on 2 days off. Accommodation available is: 1x large 4 bedroom house with a heatpump & gas hot water 1x small 2 bedroom cottage with a heatpump We are not accredited employers so you must have the legal right to work in NZ. Feed Production Management • Assist with any feed planning or the management of as appropriate. • Assist to manage weeds and pests to maintain pasture and crops. • Milking • Ensure the effective operation of all aspects of the milking process, including plant hygiene and somatic cell count, to maintain grade free standards. We require an honest reliable Herd Manager to join our team in Southland. 2 years experience  or a qualification Level 4 or above required . Understands and takes responsibility for daily tasks such as running of the dairy, effluent management and feeding. Completes tasks with minimal supervision and can supervise and train other staff.
