The farm features: 100-bale rotary with mainly in-shed feeding Protrack and Allflex collars Pivot and fixed-grid irrigation Effluent applied through pivots Silage fed on the shoulders when required Excellent on- and off-farm training opportunities Great location with good local schooling and an awesome community About You We’re looking for someone with 3+ years’ dairy experience who is confident taking responsibility and leading key areas of the farm. He rd Manager Position available We require a competent Herd Manager with several years experience that is willing to work, learn and engage in the day to day running of the farm. In the shed: You will be required to milk twice a day. Always be on time. Be calm with all stock and show a good level animal awareness. Diagnose fix or report problems with the milking plant. Follow milking procedures to ensure quality milk is supplied. Diagnose health issue in the herd. Administer Treatments and record correctly. Treat lame cows. Ensure in shed feed systems are working correctly on a daily basis.
