We milk 420-430 Friesian cows through a new 50 bale rotary shed, located 5 minutes east of Eltham. We require someone who is passionate about farming and who is keen to learn more about the industry.  This position is a fixed term position, finishing 30 May 2027, to cover an absent employee. You will be required to undertake and be involved in general farming duties including milking, dairy hygiene, weed control, animal health, feeding out and general maintenance. You must be honest and reliable, and have excellent time management skills. Our team is made up of 3 full time workers (employer included). Time off will be every second weekend. Our business specialises in clearing and removing animal bedding from sheds, so this is a hands-on role involving machinery operation and physical work.
