FARM ASSISTANT & HERD MANAGER Falcon Trust Partnership | Balfour, Southland Due to a staff injury, we are seeking a reliable Farm Assistant and Herd Manager to join our team. Tidy housing supplied. 8-on, 2-off, 8-on, 3-off roster during the season and 6-on, 1-off during calving . What we are looking for: Good stock sense, quiet cow handling and a commitment to animal welfare. Ability to identify mastitis, lameness and other animal health concerns, report issues promptly and follow treatment instructions. Safe, confident operation of two-wheel farm motorbikes and quad bikes. Reliable milking routines, good shed hygiene and accurate record keeping.
