We have a job available for an experienced all-rounder dairy farm assistant on a 650-cow farm in the Parakao area, approximately 30 minutes west of Whangarei, milking through a 50 Bail Rotary shed.  This role is open to NZ Residents/Citizens You'll have a range of duties to keep you busy, interested and developing including: Milking  shifting cows and feeding  fencing, weed control calving, calf rearing shed cleaning and setup identifying and alerting managers to sick cows setting fences driving 2/4 wheelers or side-by-side and other all-around farm duties Weekly hours are a minimum of 40 and a maximum of 50. We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic farm assistant to join our dairy farm. We are a family owned and operated farm located in Te Kopuru, Northland.  We operate a split calving  OAD 400 Cow dairy unit with two support blocks for young stock. The role of Farm Assistant will require you to be milking assisting with milk quality and animal health, assisting with feeding animals assisting with dairy shed hygiene, effluent management and general farm work.
