We are looking for an experienced Farm Assistant to join our team to assist in the day to day running of our Dairy Farm. You will be required to assist in all farming duties including milking, calving, feeding out and other general farm jobs. The position is based just out of Edgecumbe, Bay of Plenty. The Position is full-time on a 160ha 450 Friesian cow farm with a 32 a-side herring bone shed. Minimum 30 hours per week with an average of 50 hours per week. Minimum experience 12 months work experience in a dairy farm or similar role. Qualification preferred but not essential. Farm Assistant - Waikato and Bay of Plenty We are looking for 2 farm assistants to join our team of 7 across 2 farms. We milk 550 spring-calving cows on a farm situated in Reporoa and 320 spring-calving cows on a farm situated in Rerewhakaaitu. Milking is done through a 50 a-side and a 32 a-side herringbone shed. Both farms have in-shed feed systems. Our ideal candidates will have a great attitude and a willingness to learn. You will be able to work well in a team and be punctual, reliable and honest.
