The Role We are looking for a strong Farm Assistant to join our team based in Dunsandel which is an excellent location close to Christchurch. You will be assisting with leading a team and milking 850 cows. This will be on a rotating roster of 6 days on and 2 days off.  You will be a team player, have strong pasture management knowledge and a genuine desire to achieve the farms goals. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our dairy team of 6.  We milk 1550 cows in an 80 bail shed with protrack, in shed feeding, ACRs and automatic teatspray.  We are located in Ashburton and work on a 6 on 2 off roster, with a pay range of $28-$32 based on a 50 hour work week.  This job will include: Milking, getting cows in, setting fences, riding a 2 wheeler and tractor, calf pick up, general farm maintenance, and cleaning.  The right person - -Can work in a team and independently - Has good time management - Has the willingness to learn new things and follow instructions -Can work with people from different nationalities For this role you must be able to prove you have 2 years work experience in Agriculture or a similar degree.
