You will need to be physically fit, able to speak good English, and have a positive attitude.  Experience isn't essential, but would be advantageous. The farm is part of a wider family farming group, with a proven record of staff progression.  We will encourage off-farm learning for the right person.  The roster will be 8/3 7/3 for the majority of the season, with a different roster set up for calving. You must be able to drive a 2 wheel motorbike.  You will be working alongside a contract milker, 2IC and another farm assistant.  This season we will be milking approximately 870 Friesian cross cows through a modern 60 bale rotary cowshed.  The cows have Allflex collars, the shed has protrack, ACR's,  and auto teat spray making for an efficient 1-man milking operation through the course of the season.
