Do you want to work on established farm that runs with organised systems and efficient procedures? We are looking for a motivated Dairy Farm Assistant. The position will involve assisting the manager with the day to day running of the farm. Including all aspects of milking and keeping the shed clean. Getting cows in from the paddock, moving break feed fences and keeping the paddocks weed free. This is a varied role and whilst no qualifications or experience are necessary, a practical hands on attitude and the ability to get up early and be on time are important attributes for this position.
Competitive annual salary dependent on experience. However, no experience is necessary. There is a possibility of relief milking/calf rearing work available for a partner. This can be discussed at interview stage.

Roster is 7/2, 7/2, 7/3 except though calving which is 7/2 (end July to end of Sept) approx 47 hours per week
Green Valley is situated 7km from the Culverden township and 30 minutes from Hanmer Springs. A fully irrigated farm, with pivots and fixed grid sprinklers. Cows are milked through a 50 bale rotary shed with automatic cup removers and Protrack.
