We seek a capable and reliable person who is machinery- minded to join our team milking 600 cows 10 minutes south of Westport.  We are a family-owned farm that offers a good variety of work.   You should be confident operating a range of machinery, as we do our own spreading, cultivating and silage making.  Farm maintenance skills also desirable. This job would suit someone keen to progress in the dairy industry.  Milking experience is preferable but not essential.   We are supportive of Ag Ito training, and offer opportunities to further your career. We are a family owned and operated dairy farm 5 minutes from Piopio township in the King Country, milking 600 kiwi cross cows through a 40 bail rotary. We milk twice-a-day during spring, transitioning to a 14 in 7 milking system in summer. The shed has automatic cup removers, automatic teat sprayer and drafting gates.
