We are looking for an entry level Dairy Farm Assistant to assist with day to day farm tasks such as milking, weed spraying, calf rearing (at times) general maintenance, stock work etc on a new farm for us in a great team environment. We are looking for someone who wants to develop a career in farming with a can do attitude that is drug free (testing may be required at anytime), reliable, turns up well on time for shift, honest, a self thinker and a team player..... we all pitch in to get the job done and shift around days off to help each other out so it works for everyone.
Ability to already safely ride a 2 wheeler is a must aswell is being able to follow instructions well and follow sound health and safety practices.
Housing is a single mans quarters (no pets)
Roster is 6 on 2 off with willingness to swap if needed to help other team members get off farm for family events.
Schooling is in Reporoa village with Broadlands primary not far up the road along with school buses into Rotorua.
Split calving with great tech in shed.
