We are looking for an experienced calf rearer to help us grow our future super stars! We rear 600 calves and it does get very busy. Because animal welfare is a priority, we are looking someone with great attention to detail who doesn't cut corners and can detect issues before they become a problem. To be successful in this role you will need to be a patient and empathetic person, be able to drive a tractor and already have the right to work in nz (we will not transfer visas as this is a short term casual position).  This is a drive in position. We are located 10 minutes drive from Cambridge. 

DRIVE IN CALF REARER We have 450 cows to calve on our 104ha farm near Leamington, Cambridge, and we are looking for a calf rearer to join the team to take care of our calves while they are on farm. We will have a mixture of dairy replacements and dairy beef calves through the system. Previous experience in calf rearing is a must and have a real passion for looking after the health and wellbeing of every calf. It will be for approx. 5 to 7 hours per day until mid-September.  $26-$28/hr   negotiatiable depending on experience. We will need you to drive a manual vehicle to transport milk No accommodation available & we are not accredited employers.

We are looking for a Calf Rearer to help through this season starting at the end of July. We will be rearing around 100 heifer replacement calves and up to approx. 50 beef calves. We are flexible on hours worked but ideally everyday, We expect the work period to be around 8 weeks, this is a drive in postion on Oreipunga Road, Cambridge.  We have staff available to assist when and as required. Experience rearing calves is essential.

We are looking for a drive in Calf Rearer/Relief milker for this current season 2026, from July til September with possible on-going work with Relief Milking throughout the year. Must have good experience in calf rearing, 1 farm has 200 and the 2nd farm has 260 spring calving cows. A good hourly rate offered depending on experience, must have reference and live in New Zealand in our area, we are not an accredited employer.
