We are looking for a motivated Herd Manager to join our team on a 685-cow dairy farm in Tokoroa The farm operates a 50-bale rotary shed and is irrigated via 2 x Travelling irrigators Key Responsibilities Your role will include, but is not limited to: Milking Identifying and managing lame or sick cows Assisting with pasture management and feed allocation Plant and vat wash Tractor work and feeding out Fencing and general maintenance Weed control Assisting with calving and mating Leading and supporting other staff when required Maintaining high standards of animal welfare and farm presentation General farm duties What We Are Looking For The successful applicant will have: At least 2 years of dairy farming experience in New Zealand Previous experience in a Herd Manager or similar role preferred Good knowledge of animal health and pasture management The ability to work independently and within a team...
