We have a full-time position to fill working with an existing team of 3. Farm is located 10 minutes south of Cambridge milking 450 cows through a 44 aside with feed pad and mixing wagon. We require at least 2 years full time dairy farm experience. You would need to be confident in daily milkings, bringing in herds, shed hygiene and animal health. Pasture management and daily farm maintenance. Due to unforeseen circumstances we are looking for someone to join us on our Dairy Farm near Morrinsville. We are milking 300 crossbred cows on 107ha 15 minutes North of Morrinsville. We have a brand new 30 aside herringbone cowshed with automatic cup removers and auto yard wash. There is a tidy 3 bedroom home available. The farm is grass based with grass and grass silage as the main feeds so this is a great place to learn excellent pasture management. We do about 110,000kgMS per year and typically go OAD in January each year. We aim for best practice in every area especially cow health, incalf rates, SCC and youngstock rearing.
