We have a position available for an experienced and motivated Assistant Manager for our 700 cow Dairy Farm, with a 54 Bale Rotary, ACR's, Protrac and in shed feeding. You will be working alongside a great team, on a tidy well maintained farm in a very desirable location. The farm is irrigated by Centre pivots, set pole sprinklers and a small amount of K-line.
The applicant must be currently residing in NZ, with a permanent work visa or residency.
You must hold a very sound knowledge of Dairy farming, with pasture management skills, mating, and animal health, a good understanding of irrigation systems and be confident operating machinery. Able to communicate with staff, use your initiative and be able to step in and run the farm on the Managers days off.
You will occupy a brand new, modern 2 bedroom home. Lauriston, OLS, Methven Primary and Mt Hutt college all available options for schooling.
Applicants are required to have a minimum of 3 years experience on a New Zealand Dairy farm.
You will be required to provide references.
