We are looking for a Farm Assistant to join us on farm!

360 cows (peak).
150,000 KGMS (target).
113ha effective
40 aside herringbone shed with in shed feeders and a auto drafter.
Cows have Nedap collars for heat detection and health alerts.
System 3-4 with all cows wintered on farm.
Current 50/50 sharemilkers, running a efficient pasture focused system with a strong emphasis on feeding our cows profitably.
Located 2mins from Reporoa, 35mins from Rotorua and Taupo.
Accommodation- 3 bedroom farm house with a garage.
Job Description
The fulltime farm assist will be working closely with the current sharemilkers on farm (husband and wife team) as well as some casual relief staff.

We are 50/50 Sharemilkers, peak milking 360 cows on 113ha in Reporoa.
Shed is a 40ash herringbone with in shed feeding and auto drafter. Farm is dead flat and well laid out, good water, fence and race infrastructure.
System 3-4 with a high importance placed on pasture management and feeding cows well. Production targets of 450kgms/cow.
Sharemilkers (2) are currently the only staff on farm.
