Experienced Farmer required for Goat Dairy operation Puketaha/Gordonton

About the Farm

• Milking approximately 1,000 dairy goats
• Modern 100-bail rotary shed
• Flat, well-maintained farm
• Cut-and-carry feeding system

The Role
Working alongside the Farm Manager, you will be involved in all aspects of the day-to-day operation, including:

• Milking and livestock management
• Animal health and husbandry
• Feed and pasture management
• Operating the cut-and-carry system
• Farm maintenance and repairs
• Machinery operation and maintenance
• Supporting and assisting other staff when required

About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Previous dairy farming or goat farming experience
• A genuine passion for livestock and farming
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• The ability to work independently and show initiative
• A positive attitude and strong work ethic

• Mixer wagons

In addition, you must:

• Hold a current New Zealand driver's licence
• Have a clean criminal record
• Be drug-free and willing to undergo testing if required
