We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our team of 3 others. We milk 970 cows, through a 56 bale rotary, ACR's, Protrack, in shed feeding, 4 pivot irrigation, sprinkler on post and some shingle shift sprinklers.
We are seeking an enthusiastic team player who is able to communicate effectively in English and consistently display a good attitude and work ethic. You need to work effectively as part of a team as well as unsupervised. 1-2 years' experience in dairying an advantage, but the right attitude & willingness to learn will be looked at favorably. We use Federated Farmer contracts and run a strict drug and alcohol policy.
We are based in the Amuri Basin, 40 minutes from Hanmer Springs, 10 minutes to the local supermarket and 1 & 1/2 hours to Christchurch. All manner of sports, hiking, outdoor activities are available on our backdoor step. You will need a car, and driver's license due to the proximity of our farm & location.
We offer a fully furnished 2-bedroom cottage with heat pump.
