We are looking for a relief milker to join our team on a drive-in basis. This role is based across two farms: one in Horsham Downs and one in Gordonton.
The Horsham Downs farm uses Halter and milks 700 cows through a 44 ASHB with an AI backing gate, twice daily, year-round. There are three staff currently on farm who love their jobs and provide a friendly team environment.
The Gordonton farm milks 520 cows through a 40 ASHB with auto cup removers and auto teat sprayers, twice daily, seasonally. There are two existing staff members who have multiple years of experience, are friendly and have a passion for the dairy industry.
This is a milking-only position for approx. 30 per week across both farms. It is a hands-on role suited to someone who has some experience with milking, enjoys working in a team and is confident working in a cowshed.
You will need to be available for rostered milkings on weekdays and weekends. The wage for this role is between $30 - $35 per hour, based on experience.
