We are looking for a farm assistant with experience (2 years minimum preferred)
We are a looking for someone who enjoys dairy farming wants to be apart of a team enjoys a laugh but takes the job seriously when needed.
Farm is located in Woodlands southland. Start date negotiable.
General farm assistant duties along with: Milking. Animal health, Identifying mastitis, treatments & lames. Calving. Good shed hygiene . Setting up breaks and fencing. Shifting cows. Tractor work including feeding out. Effluent management. Health & Safety.
The Ideal applicant will need to be team player and have a awesome attitude, Goal orientated, Excellent problem solving abilities & communication, a willingness to learn, Excellent time management, Workplace & house proud, Looks after farm gear, vehicles bikes, tractors . We milk 700 cows, through a 50 bail rotary shed. We are looking for a person with experience. If this position is for you, and you would like to know more and have a look around the farm.
