We are looking for a motivated farm assistant to join our friendly team. The right person for the job will need to be willing to learn, listen, follow direction and be accountable for their actions in an upfront and honest way. This would require someone that likes to do a job up to a high standard, with good attention to detail and that takes pride in the job they are doing.
If you have a good attitude, passion about dairy farming, want to learn and grow and would like to join an equally passionate team where a good team environment is paramount, you certainly should consider this position.
The farm assistant will be responsible for the daily jobs on the farm, including milking, cows in, weed control, cleaning, assisting with general jobs through the season, including youngstock work. Some experience and training on New Zealand farming is required. Calf rearing experience would be an advantage.
You'll be required to take a pre-employment drug test and random drug tests through the season. No smoking policy on farm.
