We seek a capable and reliable person who is machinery- minded to join our team milking 600 cows 10 minutes south of Westport. We are a family-owned farm that offers a good variety of work. You should be confident operating a range of machinery, as we do our own spreading, cultivating and silage making. Farm maintenance skills also desirable.
This job would suit someone keen to progress in the dairy industry. Milking experience is preferable but not essential. We are supportive of Ag Ito training, and offer opportunities to further your career.
Full driver's licence required, and able to pass a pre-employment drug test.
The farm is close to rivers, bush, mountains and the sea, with great opportunities for hunting, fishing and surfing. School bus at the end of the road, 300m from house.
