Qualified Greenkeepers x 2 – Arrowtown, Central Otago

FRENZ Recruitment is looking for 2 experienced Greenkeepers to join a unique private 18-hole golf course in the stunning Arrowtown/Crown Terrace area of Central Otago.

Set within a 430ha working high-country property, this is an exceptional rural environment with breathtaking views and plenty of space to enjoy working outdoors. The golf course has been developed to a high standard over the past 16 years, with a strong focus on maintaining predominantly fescue turf.

Working at an altitude of 700m+, the role offers variety, challenge and genuine job satisfaction for someone who takes pride in maintaining a high-quality course.

What You’ll Bring

• Level 4 Turf Management qualification or equivalent preferred — experienced applicants without a qualification will also be considered
• Minimum 2 years’ golf course maintenance experience, including machinery operation
• Good knowledge of golf course maintenance and turf management
• Full Driver Licence
• Excellent attention to detail and time-management skills
• Able to work independently and take responsibility for your work
• Reliable, physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in all seasons
• Positive “can-do” attitude
• Good understanding of Health & Safety practices
• Strong communication skills
• Growsafe certificate, or willingness to obtain one
• Commitment to ongoing learning and development

What’s on Offer

• $30–$40 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications
• Permanent, full-time employment
• Minimum 40 hours, maximum 50 hours per week
• Work in a stunning high-country setting above Arrowtown

Pre-employment requirements: Applicants will be required to complete a pre-employment drug test and criminal history check, with employment conditional on satisfactory results.

Smoking and vaping are not permitted on the course and are only permitted in employer-designated areas during break periods.
