We have a position available for a Dairy Farm Assistant on a 700-cow farm milking through a 54 Rotary Bale shed in the Ashburton area. The farm is located 10-15 minutes to Ashburton, 30 minutes from Mt Hutt Ski Field. Previous experience is preferred but not required for this role.
You'll have a range of duties to keep you busy, interested and developing including:
Weekly hours are a minimum of 40 and a maximum of 50. Since farm work is dependent on a number of unknown factors like weather and animals, any hours worked beyond the agreed maximum in a fortnightly pay period will be paid at the agreed overtime rate.
The schedule may vary; Roster would be 7 days on 2 days off.
Salary ranges from $67,782 - $76,000 per annum, depending on experience.
