Our current 2ic has stepped up and is now manager. We are looking for someone to support him . You must be able to efficiently milk , be aware of animal health issues and treat them, be able to pass a shed inspection and be competent in completing dairy dairy. Minda, halter . You also must be able to drive a tractor on hills, (dairy platform is mostly flat/rolling) feed out, and able to carry out general farm maintenance.
We are an organic, regenerative farm also with 200 head of beef. Organic experience is not necessary but would be an advantage .Animal health and pasture management are priorities (using halter ) owners are not on farm so you must be reliable and able to work without supervision .
The job comes with a 2/3 bedroom barn/house with a separate garage and shed . We pay power ,sim card and Internet too . We are 12 mins from town with our own beach and small boat available to use .
