Temp, casual and fixed term positions are available for Relief Milk Harvester, Calf Rearers and Dairy Farm Assistants for an agency specialising in providing relief staff to the Agriculture Industry.
Specific roles can be anywhere in Southland and will require applicants to be able to commute.
We provide relief staff to agricultural businesses across Southland. While the role is mainly relief milking there is a variety of other work throughout the year including calf rearing, lambing, farm minding, winter crop work, soil testing, herd test assisting, cleaning, and tail trimming.
Applicant requirements:
* two years of practical dairying experience for dairy roles
* full drivers licence
* own accommodation
* farming/stockmanship references (dairy/beef/sheep/deer etc).
* good personal hygiene
* attention to detail and good communication skills
* pass police check and/or drug testing
* able to do early starts, weekends and public holidays, and turn up with great work ethic and attitude
* participate in check in meetings and professional development
* attend monthly meetings
