We are seeking...
1x Assistant manager (2iC)
and
1x farm assistant
These are full-time permanent positions. This is a hands-on role supporting the day-to-day operations on the dairy farm. The successful candidate will have a strong work ethic, a commitment to animal welfare, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist with milking operations and general dairy farm duties.
- Monitor and maintain high standards of animal health and welfare.
- Identify and report animal health concerns promptly.
- Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Assist with feeding, stock movements, fencing, and pasture management.
- Follow all farm health, safety, and biosecurity procedures.
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 2-3 Years experience.
- Proven ability to operate farm machinery and equipment safely.
- Strong understanding of animal health and welfare practices.
- Valid New Zealand driver's license.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to manage time effectively.
- Physically fit and capable of working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- positive attitude and willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends as required.
- Must be LIVING and ELIGIBLE to work in New Zealand.
