We have a position available for a Dairy Farm Assistant on a 1,000-cow farm in Masterton, milking through a 60 Bail Rotary shed. Experience is preferred but not required for this role.
You'll have a range of duties to keep you busy, interested and developing including:
Weekly hours are a minimum of 40 and a maximum of 55. Since farm work is dependent on a number of unknown factors like weather and animals, any hours worked beyond the agreed maximum in a fortnightly pay period will be paid at the agreed overtime rate.
The schedule may vary; Roster will be 6 days on, 2 days off for the rest of the year.
Wage ranges from $26.50 to $35.00 per hour, subject to experience.
