Chertsey Dairies is hiring for a drive in milker (no accomodation available) to assist with milking 950 cows in 50 bale cowshed with cup removers from approximately 27 July.
Hours and days of work are flexible but will be a minimum of 6hrs per day paid at $30 per hour. More general farm work available for the right person if that suits.
To apply you must currently be in NZ and already legally entitled to work in NZ.
What’s the farm like? Located 10 minutes from Ashburton and Rakaia; Chertsey Dairies is an 230ha dairy farm milking 950 cows at peak through a 50 bail rotary with in shed feeding and cup removers.
Chertsey Dairies is sharemilked by Ashpouri Ltd which is run by Will and Kim Grayling and is operated alongside Singletree Dairies who milk 2400 cows.
