About the Farm
Our farm features a 40‑a‑side herringbone shed equipped with ACRs, a well‑set‑up feed pad, and machinery including smaxtec monitoring system and drafting gate to support efficient daily operations. We run an effective team of two staff plus the sharemilker. We operate a fortnightly pay period with a variable rotating roster.
The Role
Main duties include:
- Milking (solo milking experience preferred)
- General day‑to‑day farm tasks
- Assisting with young stock and once‑a‑day milked animals
- Shed hygiene, animal health monitoring, and feeding
- Effluent management
- Tractor operation (required)
- Payloader training provided
Roster Structure
- Year‑round: 7 days on / 2 days off - 3 days on / 2 days off rotating roster
Accommodation
A modern two‑bedroom home with a single garage and heat pump is available. Dogs are not permitted.

Requirements
- Must be currently living in New Zealand
- Must be eligible to work in New Zealand
- Must provide two references and a cover letter
- Must be able to pass a drug test if required
