We have a job for a dairy farm assistant who must have 1+ years’ dairy farm experience and be a resident/citizen as employer will not be accredited.
This is for a 1200 cow farm in the Bainham area, 18 minutes from Collingwood, milking through an 80 Bail Rotary shed.
You'll have a range of duties to keep you busy, interested and developing including:
Weekly hours are a minimum of 40 and a maximum of 40. Since farm work is dependent on a number of unknown factors like weather and animals, should you work beyond the agreed maximum hours in a fortnightly pay period, you will be paid the agreed overtime hourly rate for any hours beyond the maximum hours.
The schedule may vary; Roster is 11 days on, 3 days off for the rest of the year.
Wage is between $27.00 - $29.00 per hour subject to experience.
Candidates must have previous dairy farming experience and are required to provide good related references.
