Senior Farm Assistant – Dairy Farm (Okato, Taranaki)
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Senior Farm Assistant to join our team on a well-established 360-cow dairy farm near Okato.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to take on additional responsibility and work within a modern farming operation.
360-cow dairy operation
Modern 38-a-side herringbone cowshed
Utilising Halter monitoring technology

Start Date: 20 July
The successful applicant will be involved in all aspects of the dairy farming operation, including:
Milking and animal husbandry
Pasture and feed management
Calf rearing and stock work
Farm maintenance
Assisting with day-to-day farm operations
Leading and making sound decisions when the farm owner is absent
Applicants must:
Have a minimum of 2 years' full-time dairy farming experience
Be capable of working independently and taking responsibility when required
Be reliable, punctual, honest, and hardworking
Be drug-free and willing to comply with workplace drug and alcohol policies
Have good communication skills and a positive attitude
Hold a current driver's licence (preferred)
