We are seeking a Dairy Farm Assistant to work on a 500-cow farm in the Whataroa area, milking through a 25 AS Herringbone shed with halters. Experience is preferred but not required for this role.
You'll have a range of duties to keep you busy, interested and developing including:
Weekly hours are a minimum of 40 and a maximum of 60. Since farm work is dependent on a number of unknown factors like weather and animals, any hours worked beyond the agreed maximum in a fortnightly pay period will be paid at the agreed overtime rate.
The schedule may vary; Roster will be 11 days on, 3 days off for the rest of the year.
Wage ranges from $26.00 - $27.00 per hour, depending on experience.
