We have a job available for a Dairy Farm Assistant on a 1150-cow farm in the Whataroa area, milking through a 70 Bail Rotary shed. Experience is preferred but not required for this role.
You'll have a range of duties to keep you busy, interested and developing including:
Weekly hours are a minimum of 40 and a maximum of 60. Since farm work is dependent on a number of unknown factors like weather and animals, should you work beyond the agreed maximum hours in a fortnightly pay period, you will be paid the agreed overtime hourly rate for each additional hour worked.
The schedule may vary; Roster will be 8 days on, 3 days off.
Wage is $27 per hour.
