The farm is located on SH5, equally between Tirau, Putāruru and Rotorua in the Waikato. 15mins to each town.
Experience is essential and the ability to demonstrate competence in New Zealand dairy farming tasks is key requirement! Examples of this are running a NZ dairy plant and complete milkings, doing lame cows with knifework, Competent on 2 wheeler motorbike and tractor, Some involvement with pasture management and feed calculation. Usually will have completed 3 or more years fulltime on a nz dairy farm.
We are interested in your desire to learn, to play as a part of the team, and have a can do positive attitude. You will mainly be overseen by the farm manager, but also interact with the family farm owners.

Our farm has a near new 44 aside HB, flat to hilly contour, and run as a system 2 pasture focused farm. We use OAD milking alot of the season.
The housing is 3 bedroom house. Plenty of photos can be provided.
No pets, No smoking.
Minimum of 30 hours per week worked.
We do perform random drug testing as part of our health and safety program
