This is a 65 ha ( eff) farm 2 km from the Tatua factory near Morrinsville. Last season's production was 102,000 Kg ms or 468 Kg ms/c and 1570 Kg ms/ha on 'sytem 3'. The 2 year Average production from 230 cows is 97,185 Kg ms or 422 Kg ms/cow, and 1495 Kg ms/ha. Current production std is 2% up on last season. The farm is flat with very high fertility and good infrastructure. The cowshed is a 20as HB, with good flow. Calves are grazed on and heifers off.
We are looking for a proven cows and grass Manager who is well organised and is a good communicator. The Sharemilker needs to live on and operate the farm. We require a high BW jersey or jersey cross herd, calving from early to mid July.
