Due to current staff member taking the next step We are now seeking an honest reliable person to assist a contract milking couple for the 2025/2026 season.   We have a 360 cow farm milked through a 30 a/s herringbone shed. Your role will include general farm assistant duties, including: Milking, stock movement, helping with calving and mating, feeding out, weed control, tractor and machinery work  The successful applicant must:   Have 1 + years dairy farming experience  Experience milking  Motivated and reliable, able to self-manage  Stock empathy and basic animal health knowledge  Be a team player   Ability to communicate   Be located in New Zealand  Tractor driving experience would be an advantage   The farm is located 5min from Stratford township. It milks 360 cows over 157ha. There is a 30 a/s herringbone with acrs and inshed feeding, a stand off shelter and very good equipment.
