Hann Farming has an opportunity for a motivated individual to come and join our team. We manage a 560-cow dairy operation utilizing a 50-bail rotary shed which includes cup removers, auto teat spray, in-shed feeding and a mineralizer. The cows are all A2 and we use Allflex collars for health and mating. The farm is irrigated by pivots and fixed grid. Farm assistant required for a 1100 cow dairy farm in Hororata.  Duties include milking in a 54 bail fully automated rotary with protrack. Controlling weeds Feeding calves. We are not accredited employers so please don't apply if ineligible to work in New Zealand. Experience preferred but not necessary as full training will be provided for the successful applicant.

Assist with managing a 1100 cow dairy farm duties include but not limited too: Managing the farm whenever the contract milker is on days off.  Irrigation Pasture management, Record keeping, Milking. We are happy to provide the successful applicant with on farm and off farm training.
