Looking for a reliable sole charge relief milker who is available to do the odd weekend and/or some week day afternoons. Milking 340 cows through a 40 bail rotary shed with in shed feeding so excellent cow flow. Morning milking usually takes <2 hours plus the wash and afternoon milking <1.5 hours plus the wash. Ideally after someone local with experience. Other casual work could be available if wanted as well. Farm is located 5 minutes out of Featherston .

The farm is located between Featherston and Martinborough milking 440 friesian cows on a flat dairy platform of 150ha effective.  Producing 155 000 kgms (average over 3 seasons). The position requires motivated persons who are passionate about dairy, also be honest and have excellent communication skills. Be able to show a high standard of pasture management and feed budgeting, have good stockmanship and a quiet nature around animals.
